OVLXI exists to document the sincere dedication within our communities. A lot of the work within the ummah keeps going unnoticed. At Ovlxi we truely believe that working behind the scenes keeps the intentions clear. with rest, respect and the highest craftsmanship. The maker stays behind the camera, a silent witness. It is not about a face, but about your work and your true intention.
My journey in media began with a master's degree in journalism and a university grounding in sociology. That background gave me the tools to observe sharply and to unpack stories. But my most valuable experience came afterwards, in practice: partly through editorial roles within international news environments and partly through years of active work on the ground with various social projects and associations in Belgium.
There I saw up close how much dedication, commitment and mutual connection lives within our community. But I also noticed that these stories rarely take the right form online. Fast online marketing strips out the soul, and conventional agencies often lack a deeper understanding of our values.
